Voyager is so light to tow that a beginner users often think they lost the trailer.
Whether you ride in the city or on a mountain trail, you just forget about the trailer. Contrary to all bystanders who are always amazed by the “third wheel”.
Among all bicycle trailers that we know of, the Extrawheel Voyager:
- is the lightest,
- can most easily negotiate obstacles,
- may enter the narrowest spaces
transfers the least load on the bicycle and carries the heaviest load (35 kilograms)
- except for two-wheel trailers of which we recommend Carry Freedom to all those who need to transport larger cargo
is the world’s only trailer (beside Extrawheel Classic) which can save your life, as it
- constitutes a spare wheel
- detaches itself in the event of major collisions
Voyager may be attached to all types of bicycles – including recumbent bicycles, racing bicycles and bicycles with full shock absorption. This trailer is an excellent solution for bicycles with disc brakes and without a luggage carrier. Towing a trailer results in little wear to the bicycle, unlike luggage carriers burdened with heavy panniers.
Instant attachment to the bicycle
Full-size mudguard which protects against mud also from behind.
Along with the trailers, we provide manually aligned wheels with a tyre tread of low rolling resistance. To learn more about wheels and choosing the wheel size click here - FAQ.
Even if you transport little load, it is safer and easier to carry it on the trailer.
- it increases your safety by attracting drivers’ attention.
- it improves your stability by lowering the centre of gravity
- it shortens the braking distance – the load placed high on the rear luggage carrier lifts the rear wheel sooner than if pushed by a trailer
- it improves the front wheel contact with the ground while riding uphill
- it makes it easy to get on and off the bike; while cycling you do not hit your heels against the panniers
- you needn’t carry a backpack
- it extends the lifecycle of the bicycle rear wheel
- it reduces the rolling resistance in soft terrain by distributing the load on a larger surface (third wheel)
