Advantages of our construction
· Remarkable stability. A great pile of
luggage on the trailer is leaning on curves together with the bike displaying a
lightweight performance which is causing general amazement. This is owing to
the inconspicuous-looking fastening (fork) which at the same time is unusually
rigid. Its arms go right in the middle of the ball-shaped joints and they only
transfer longitudinal stress; just like a stick which is hard to break by
pressing its ends. That’s why they can be so light and thin. The trailer is
also marked by:
· record-breaking lightweight performance – Extrawheel is
the world’s lightest one-wheel bicycle trailer (4.8 kg with a 28-inch average
quality wheel);
· manoeuvrability – retaining the bicycle’s turning
radius (the wheel is not placed behind but between the load, and the distance between
the trailer’s wheel and the bicycle’s back wheel is smaller than the bicycle’s own
wheel space);
· little rolling resistance (use of a large wheel);
· functionality and simple operation – quick attaching
and detaching of the fork (fastening); easy fixing of almost any load (self-locking
buckle) and releasing it with a single movement of one hand;
· easy storage – the trailer is not much wider than the
wheel itself;
· reduced risk of injuries (no hard trailer components
protruding from the side);
· wide range of wheels to choose from (large wheel);
· minimum load on the bicycle’s rear axle (placing the
wheel close to the centre of load gravity);
· simplicity and safety of the fastening – making use of
the fork arms’ resilience (specially quenched steel) instead of complicated
clasps plus emergency detaching available in case of accident;
· option of hanging the trailer, for instance over your
shoulder (adjustable strap);
· streamlined beauty – light net tautened by composite
poles on the mudguard with ABS Cordura®

Apart
from the all-use quick release hub lock (available in the package), which is
used to replace the bicycle’s rear wheel fastening, and the nuts 3/8'' 26 coils
an inch (fitting a great majority of bicycles available on the Polish market), there
are also three kinds of nuts (3/8'' 24 coils an inch, M10x1 and 13/32'' 26 coils
an inch) available on special request.
